About us

Vagabond Siblings are Gabriela and Adam – two kids that live in Bunkeflostrand, Sweden and travel with their parents as much as possible.

Gabriela was born in 2012. She loves horses, jumping into the pool, biking, climbing, visiting golden Buddhist temples, eating pizza and spring rolls. She first got on a plane at the age of 3 months and went to visit her grandparents. Her first real trip abroad was to Crete, Greece in 2013. And her first trip out of Europe was to Bali, Indonesia in 2014.

Adam was born in 2016 and immediately started following in his big sister’s footsteps. His first flight took place at the age of 3 months (winter holidays in Poland). The first European travel was to Benalmadena, Spain in the spring of 2017 and the first trip to Asia was in the fall of the same year. He celebrated his 1st Birthday in Thailand and the 2nd one in Cambodia. He loves climbing, running, jumping, riding his blue scooter, watching and cuddling with all animals, eating pancakes and ice-cream.

Daria – blogging mum. Born and raised in the south of Poland. Traveled around Europe quite a lot with her parents as a teenager. Needs to constantly be on the move, a weekend spent at home is usually just a waste of time. Loves to be active, but doesn’t mind relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine. Favorite destinations so far are Thailand, Oman and Spain.

Tomasz – family photographer. Born in Poland, but lived most of his life in Sweden. Has also lived in Austria, Denmark, USA, Australia and Spain, where he met his wife. Travels a lot with work and avoids sitting still. Loves running long distances, always reading 3 books at the same time. Makes the best pancakes according to the kids and the best pizza according to the friends of the kids. Favorite destinations so far are Austria, Georgia and Spain.

This blog has evolved from and is a continuation of our original blog gabrysiowepodroze.com which to 90% is written in Polish. As we live just outside of Malmö in Sweden, you will find a lot of posts about Skåne (the region where we live) and the south of Sweden.

Currently we are impatiently waiting for the Corona pandemic to be over, so that we can go back to regular traveling far far away. Few years ago we felt in love with South-East Asia and we can’t wait to discover more of it.

Even if this blog is about traveling kids, I don’t see our travels as extremely kids-friendly. We are normally trying to do as much as possible experiencing the heart and soul of a given country rather than staying at the hotel in the proximity of the kids club (brrrrr). We hike, we visit temples, museums, castles, zoos, we eat local food from the hawker or family restaurant and relax on the beach from time to time. We hope that our posts will get you inspired to take your family on an adventure!
